The people of Costa Rica have a saying: Pura Vida. Translated into English it means Pure Life. It means living in the moment. It means slowing down to enjoy the day, your family, your life, now. Somewhat in-line with what yoga teaches us, wouldn’t you say? Perhaps it’s the Pura Vida attitude that has put Costa Rica at the top of the Happy Planet Index (HPI) study issued on June 14, 2012.
