Birds chirping. Palms swaying in the wind. Cicada acoustics. As the sounds blend around us, we begin our morning class in beautiful Atenas, Costa Rica. We take note of the waking energy of Mother Nature around us, before we tune within to begin the subtle dialog with our own Body, Mind and Spirit.

The search for a perfect location for our first Yoga retreat carries on. This Tuesday I took off in the SUC (Sport Utility Civic) for a quick jaunt down to Cahuita on the Caribbean coast. I love Cahuita. In the last week, 2 people I know have mentioned a Yoga lodge there, a few minutes from the beach, called The Goddess Garden. Both of them said some amazing things about the location, the lodge and the owners, so naturally, I dropped everything and went down for a one night stay.
